- Getting a good night's sleep not only refreshes your body,but also your mind and your emotions. Here are some tips to get the most of your sleep.
- Avoid strenuous exercise close to bedtime. Instead, take moderate and gentle stretch for neck, shoulders and back to relax your body and improve quality of sleep.
- Replace pillow every 1 1/2 to 2 years. Keep your head and neck in proper alignment with your spine for peaceful sleep.
- Sleeping posture is important. Sleep on your back, with pillow under your knees to support the lower back.
- Avoid having large meal too close to bedtime as it can stimulate digestive system and disrupt your sleep. Avoid caffeine, nicotine or stimulants within four hours of bedtime.
- Take warm bath before bedtime. not a shower since this is can be stimulating instead of relaxing and take a few minutes to massage in facial night treatment which can help enhance falling asleep.
